ING Belgium renews its executive committee to support growth
Cédric Lebegge, currently Chief Operations Officer, will take the lead of the Private Individuals segment.
Jan Van Sande, responsible for private banking and wealth management, officially joins the Executive Committee.
Saskia Bauters is appointed Head of Business Banking (pending regulatory approval), while Lucy Shenton, in charge of transformation and the new banking platform, also becomes a member of the leadership team.

With over 12 years of experience at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, where he served as Global Market Strategist, Vincent Juvyns brings deep expertise in investment strategy, macroeconomics, and communication with institutional clients and the media. He will lead ING Belgium’s local strategy team, collaborate closely with teams in the Netherlands and Luxembourg, and represent the bank at industry events and conferences. KBC Group nominates Kristine Braden and Line Hestvik as independent directors
Both would also join the Risk & Compliance and Nominations Committees. Kristine Braden is a seasoned international banker with a career at Citi spanning Europe, North America, and Asia, where she consistently delivered double-digit growth. She brings deep expertise in governance, strategy, and leadership across corporate, investment, and retail banking. A political science graduate from UC Berkeley, she furthered her education at MIT and Johns Hopkins.
Line Hestvik brings over 25 years of experience in finance and insurance, notably with Allianz, where she led the group’s digital transformation and sustainability strategy—positioning it as a leader in ESG. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Finance from the Norwegian School of Management BI.

IA|BE unveils its new board of directors for 2025–2028
The new governing body of the Institute of Actuaries in Belgium was officially appointed during the Statutory General Assembly held on March 26, 2025, with roles confirmed on March 31. The board, consisting of eleven members elected for a three-year term, respects linguistic rotation: five Dutch-speaking members, five French-speaking members, and an alternating presidency. Nicole Verheyen (Dutch-speaking) serves as President, supported by Ludovic Theate (French-speaking) as Vice President.
