Hedi Ben Mahmoud has been appointed Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of Belfius Bank. He will join the team on February 15, 2025, and become a member of the executive committee starting April 1, 2025, subject to regulatory approval.
A civil engineer graduate from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, Hedi Ben Mahmoud has over 20 years of experience in risk management, including roles as Chief Risk Officer at Bank of New York Mellon and Banque Internationale in Luxembourg (BIL).

Claudia Max appointed regional CEO of Allianz Benelux
Claudia Max takes on the role of Regional CEO of Allianz Benelux starting, subject to regulatory approval.
A former member of the German Board of Management and Chief Underwriting Officer at Zurich Group, she will bring extensive experience gained in strategic positions at Zurich and McKinsey. A graduate of the London School of Economics and a doctor from the Technical University of Darmstadt, she succeeds Kathleen Van den Eynde, who will support the transition before retiring in May 2025. This appointment aims to strengthen Allianz's strategy and transformation in the Benelux region.
