It provides data on both the number of claims and their financial impact, covering storms, floods, and vehicle damage, as well as losses affecting homes and businesses of all sizes.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"405\" data-end=\"679\">Users can analyze the data over time (from 2015 onwards) and geographically (at the national, provincial, or municipal level). <strong>A key new feature is the ability to view damage costs per inhabitant.<\/strong> The data is based on insurers\u2019 claims, representing the vast majority of the market. <span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.4px; font-size: 1rem;\">Since 2015, insurers have paid out more than \u20ac5 billion in compensation for damages caused by storms and floods.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"681\" data-end=\"1006\">Assuralia emphasizes that prevention is crucial to limiting climate damage and calls on local authorities to implement effective structural measures. At the same time, it highlights the importance of a strong public-private partnership to ensure that victims of major natural disasters are compensated quickly and adequately.\u00a0<\/p><div><span
