The summer of 2026 confirms a shift in travel habits across Europe, driven in particular by the geopolitical context and high temperatures. Holidaymakers are increasingly choosing to travel by car and opting for European destinations. AXA Partners Benelux handled <\/span>14,626 roadside assistance cases<\/b> in June and July, up 3%, with <\/span>cases abroad increasing by 15%<\/b>. International medical assistance cases also rose by 15% in July, reaching 917. Insurance Europe has responded to the IAIS consultation on how supervisors should assess whether insurance products deliver sufficient value to customers.
