Our client is looking for a Data Manager who will manage the technical data capabilities both at the group and local levels by leading different projects addressing primarily pricing, profitability monitoring and reserving topics. His/her main missions will involve the following:
Steering and monitoring data projects by coordinating from technical point of view the implementation of group and local data strategy in general and more specifically technical use cases selected,
Acting as the main point of contact of IT teams to capture data definitions, business glossaries, data dictionaries, and other metadata required to support the business activities,
Providing support to implement processes, policies, procedures and standards to govern business critical data in liaison with IT teams,
Maintaining and improving the existing technical data lake for international contracts (structure, quality, platform …) according to the business needs,
Assisting colleagues whether they are performing everyday data-related tasks or retrieving special reports or data sets,
Developing the insurance knowledge of the main insurance entities of the Group by disseminating data management know-how, and by interacting with these different entities whose size, profession and specialties are heterogeneous.
Master’s in actuarial science, mathematics, IT or related area,
At least 7 years of experience in P&C insurance or within a consulting firm,
Data management skills, ability to manipulate data, analyze, structure and issue reports and recommendation, knowledge of non-structured data is considered an asset,
Statistical Methodologies and Modeling (GLM), knowledge of Machine Learning (Random Forest, Gradient Boosting) is an additional asset,
Project management skills,
Team spirit and autonomy,
Analytical and global thinking ability,
Good command of R software, Python and data visualization tools is an additional asset,
Fluency in English, the command of a second foreign language is considered an asset.
Our client is looking for a Senior Client Partner who will be in charge of underwriting and renewing Life products and looking for new life products ideas, as well as developing the client portfolio, mainly on the French market.
In this position, the Client Partner will be working on various tasks, in permanent contact with the clients, such as :
Investigate new development opportunities
Explore, analyse and report any business information regarding the potential development and evolution of clients, competitors, markets and countries.
Research new online solutions taking in account market expectations
Participate in market’s activities (presentations, conferences)
Bring support to the pricing, health underwriting and claims management departments
Develop the expertise and know-how of the team members
Contribute to administrative tasks related to the Client Partner’s tasks and field
Take part in the standard activities and reply to any Directors’ specific requests, including those related to budget
Take part in the development of the yearly marketing and strategic action plan
Between 7 and 10 years of experience on the French market, preferably in life (re)insurance
A good knowledge of actuarial techniques, of life reinsurance, legal restrictions and regulatory requirements
A good knowledge of MS Office
Excellent commercial and negotiation skills with client orientation
